Empowering Regenerative farmers In the Amazon rainforest
Agroverse, a pioneering initiative under the TrueSight DAO umbrella, strives to reshape the agricultural landscape in the Amazon while championing autonomy, integrity, and diversity. Our core purpose is to create a transparent, direct-to-consumer agricultural produce distribution network that empowers regenerative Amazonian small-scale farmers and provides equitable access to international markets.
Problem statement
-
Small-scale farmers face significant barriers when it comes to reaching markets and securing fair prices.
-
Geographic isolation often results in post-harvest losses and reduced product quality.
-
Limited information on consumer preferences leaves farmers dependent on middlemen who capture substantial profits.
-
In the cacao industry, middlemen can claim up to 94% of revenues, leaving farmers with meager earnings.
-
Climate change exacerbates these issues, causing crop losses and disrupting agricultural cycles.
-
Middleman exploitation hampers farmers' profits, pushing them into a vicious cycle of abandoning regenerative practices for lucrative yet harmful alternatives, further damaging the environment.
Our Solution:
Agroverse is a platform that supports small-scale farmers from the Amazon region who employ regenerative agroforestry farming practices, providing a critical bridge to the USA market. Our solution enables these sustainable producers to access new customers, increase their income, and scale their regenerative farming methods, while also bringing unique, high-quality products to American consumers. It consists of four main components
Tokenomics
Cacao Sourcing in Amazon
TrueSight DAO members source organic cacao farmers and artisanal chocolate producers from the Amazon region, expanding Agroverse's network. This connection promotes environmentally friendly practices, supports local communities, and fosters a more equitable and sustainable cacao supply chain by linking Amazonian producers with global DeFi investors and US consumers.

FDA FSVP Compliance
Qualified DAO members pre-register and document cacao farmers and chocolate producers in the Amazon region who use regenerative agroforestry farming methods, ensuring their compliance with FDA regulations and facilitating their access to the US market while promoting sustainable practices and supporting local communities and small-scale producers and artisans.

Defi Pre-Purchase Financing
Agroverse empowers farmers via DeFi pre-purchases, financing upfront costs. Produce is sold to small US manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. DeFi investors earn profits, while TrueSight DAO manages, charging a gas fee commission. Fair prices and market stability ensured, recognizing sustainable practices.
